Our Program
Sweet River Bamboo Preschools & Nurseries are year-round enrichment programs offering exceptional care for children 12 months to kindergarten ready.
Our kinship age ranges can vary slightly based on the needs of our community and the spaces we inhabit. Nursery kinships generally offer care to children 12 months to 3 years old.
Children who enroll in a nursery kinship remain there until sometime between 2.5 to 3.5 years old, depending on personal readiness, when their birthday falls in the year and on space availability at a preschool kinship.
Preschool kinships offer care to children around 2 years and up. Children who are 2 years or older when they join our community may enroll in a preschool kinship and remain there until they are ready for kindergarten.
Hours of Operation
Unless specified otherwise, kinships run full time, 8:30am-3:30pm with an aftercare program running until 5:00pm integrated into the daily rhythm. On a case-by-case basis, we can accept children into care beginning at 8 am at some locations. Please note any requests for early drop-off on your inquiry form.
Enrollment Options
2, 3, 4 or 5 full days per week. Our enrollment options are based on availability. Children may be picked up at any time throughout the day. On occasion, we can accommodate a one-day per week enrollment.

Meals:
Our Full Day Program offers three organic whole-food meals included with the price of tuition.
Participation in our Seasonal Celebrations:
Each year, Sweet River Bamboo hosts 4-8 seasonal celebrations marking the changing of the seasons. These events are magical and open to currently enrolled families. Friends of our community may join us for some events with advanced notice.

SRB staffs better than the required state ratios.

Preschool Kinships:
Singing Brook (Fremont) – 12 months to kindergarten ready. 2, 3, 4 and 5-day availability beginning September 1st 2024.
